The dialogue between ACR representatives and the mineworkers, without
the leaders of the syndication was cancelled, although both parties were
expected to take important decisions today.
Source from the Bulqize mine say that the meeting that was expected for this afternoon was not held due to organizing reasons.
The miners’ strike entered its 15th day, while their situation in the gallery continues to get aggravated, also due to the deteriorating conditions of the mine after the interruption of normal functions.
The miners are asking better working and safety conditions and also a wage increase of 40%.
The leaders of the Russian-Austrian concessionary company declared that they are ready to increase the wage with 20%.
