The Syndication representatives and the ACR Company administrators have
held talks for finding an agreement for ending the mineworkers’ strike
in Bulqize.
The representative of the ACR President met some of the syndication leaders and it seems that they have been able to find a common language.
The representatives agreed for all requests regarding the economic requests, wage increase, investments and their transparency, and have prepared a final project that only needs the official signature that will end the strike. The achievement of this preliminary agreement has been officially confirmed by the concessionary company leaders.
Although the agreement has not been signed yet, the syndication representatives added a request that is related with the dismissal of the ACR Director in Bulqize, which was added later by the syndication and is withholding the other negotiations that favor the workers and the mine itself.
