“Ilir Meta has always declared that he doesn’t want to profit from the procedural violations that were made by the Prosecution, and has asked a fair, equal and unstoppable investigation of this case. We did not withdraw the other requests, regarding the technical investigation that was performed out of the protocol. We do not withdraw our request that opposes the way the witnesses have been interrogated, and also the way that the evidence of this case were secured, by violating the law. During the trial, we will present other proofs and facts that will confirm the constant violations that have been made by the Prosecution, and also the manipulation that was made on the video, which is the expertise object of this case”, Veleshnja declared.

But according to the Penal Code, this withdrawal is being made out of the procedural and legal deadlines, because after the request was filed, the judge panel is considered to be in the Consulting Room, for giving the decision, and cannot interrupt the process for any of the requests.
