Although the Ministry of Education is reviewing the procedure for the
state university acceptance, even this year the state high school
graduation procedure will have some changes.
Students will have to pay more attention to the average grades and must calculate their coefficients more carefully, which have now changed according to the propositions made by public universities.
Experts at the Ministry of Education have clarified that besides the average grade, this year there is a threshold for all students that will not reach 10 points in the obligatory tests, and eight points at the optional tests.
“The two tests have a threshold of 10, while the others have a threshold of 8. This is a step towards transparency”, declared Arben Fagu, specialist of the AKP.
A delicate issue is the administration of the state graduation exam. The test will be distributed through the post office this year. There will be trackers and the staff that will be responsible for correcting them will have teachers from several cities. The implementation of these measures is very important.
