In the presence of dozens of citizens, politicians and academic
representatives from Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo, and with the
participation of ambassadors and Top Media leaders, this Friday in
Tetovo was solemnly inaugurated the Dritan Hoxha road.
Addressing to the present participants, the Mayor of Tetovo, Sadi Bexheti, declared that Tetovo has the honor to have a street named after Dritan Hoxha, in honor of the founder of Top Media, for his extraordinary unification of all Albanians.
Sadi Bexheti, Mayor of the Tetovo Commune:
“Dritan Hoxha was and will remain in the Albanian media world the man that crossed the safe schemes and gave to the Albanians the most advanced media formats, by investing in a modern technology and TV programs that will respond to the expectancies of the Albanians in all fields. Dritan Hoxha gave to the Albanian media his strength and innovation spirit, the indisputable aspiration of creative competition, and the vision of an pan Albanian television. Tetovo has the honor and privilege to have a road named after him, in honor and respect to the founder of Top Media, for his dedication and the development of the Albanian media and for the extraordinary contribution for the unification of all Albanians”.
The Top Media president, Mrs. Vjollca Hoxha, thanked the leaders of the Tetovo Commune for the evaluation of Dritan Hoxha’s figure. Mrs. Hoxha declared that the biggest satisfaction of Dritan Hoxha was to see all Albanians united.

“10 years ago, everyone dreamed for the Albanians to become one. Everyone dreamed the unification of all our lands, but few could imagine that we would become one in Albania, Kosovo and here in Macedonia, through a signal and through an idea. Dritan created the television in service of the people, hence now has turned into a public asset for all Albanians in Tetovo, Skopje, Prishtina, Mitrovica, Tirana, Saranda and wherever there are Albanians. Dritan had the dream and the vision that the cultural union of the Albanians is always the one that leads to big events, to political unification and any other kind of union. He never surrendered, even when life seemed difficult and the dream seamed far away. Today, Top Channel, Top Albania Radio and Digitalb are followed everywhere in Macedonia, in Kosovo and wherever there are Albanians. This is the biggest satisfaction that he received, and this honor that you are making to his name, is the biggest satisfaction that I am receiving from you today”.
