The ballot count process is about to end. It is clear by now that Erion Veliaj is the new Mayor of Tirana.
The Alliance for European Albania has created a huge difference of more than 41.000 votes with his adversary, Halim Kosova.
Gjergj Bojaxhi, the independent candidate, has received more than 15.000 votes, or 5.36%. Other candidates are Sazan Guri, 1.1%, Arben Tafaj, 0.66%, Dhimiter Muslia, 0.3%.
