September 16th gathered in Peza young citizens, Parliament Members and
local leaders in Peze, for the73rd anniversary of its conference, one of
the most important events of the war against Fascism.
“The Peza Conference listed Albania among the other countries that were fighting for freedom, and its message is very significant even today. We need unification and cooperation of all political forces for making a stronger state and for listing it with the developed countries of the European family”, Veliaj declared.
Wreaths were placed in the monument dedicated to the conference, while the Mayor promisd to the Peza residents, whose commune is now part of the Tirana Municipality, that they will bring concrete plans to develop agriculture in the area and to answer to the needs of farmers.
The Peza celebrations started three days ago, with rock concerts for the youth.
