The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met with excellence students this afternoon.
The Prime Minister promised that the education process will continue without students having to find ways through relatives or to pay money to pass exams.
Rama underlined that the government team which is working for implementing the education law is made of people with integrity.
“The dream that I had for our education system, when I first took office, now is reality. Universities accept people who deserve it, despite their family names. The high-school graduation exam was an achievement that made it possible for students to win through merit”, Rama said.
He mentioned once again the conflict with the Science Academy, which was cut out from the government budget.
“The only thing remaining from the Science Academy is its name. I appeal students to be involved in debates for things that need to change”, Rama added.
