Alla Simacheva, born in Tokyo, coming from Russia, and with an almost perfectly fluent Albanian, is the winner of the third “Colors of Albania” edition, the photographic competition opened by the start of the season by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

“This is very important for me, because I come from Russia and I know the history of our relations. I know the current relations are not as strong as they used to be. I am very proud that just through pictures that we can post online, people can have a higher desire to travel to our country. I hope there will be more tourists loving our country”, said Alla Simacheva, winner of “Colors of Albania”.

The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, declared that the archive of this initiative has collected more than 20.000 pictures in just three years.

“It’s interesting that besides known places such as Theth, Dhermi, Valbona, there are also pictures from less famous places, such as Vermosh, Erzen Canyons, Mallakastra, Benja and Shkopet”, declared the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati.

“I believe that this race will continue not only as a good opportunity for young photographs, but also to remind your friends in the world how beautiful Albania is”, said Culture Minister, Mirela Kumbaro.
