The Minister of Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj, was in a press release today with the Turkish Minister of Environment and Urbanization.
The Turkish Minister, Murat Kurum, gave details about the construction of 500 homes that will be given to the earthquake victims.
The November 26th earthquake caused 51 victims and huge material damage.
Many homes were destroyed and many others were declared inhabitable.
Kurum said that Albania has always been in the focus of President Erdogan.
For Turkey, it is a fraternal duty to help Albania in this situation, according to Kurum.
“We have brought 1500 tents for the affected families and already took the necessary steps to build 500 homes.
“Our teams have also helped with the reassessment process.
“We want to build these homes the soonest possible. There will be a cooperation protocol signed very soon with PM Rama,” Kurum declared.
