The citizens who live around the Student Campus in Tirana have been
lacking of drinking water for five days, after the Aqueduct Directory
decided to cut the water supply.
They say that some of them pay water regularly, but the Aqueduct has given collective punishments.
Sources from the Aqueduct Directory say that the water supply was cut for the Directory of the Students Campus, which has a debt of 50 million ALL to the Aqueduct.
According to the Aqueduct, all the residents who complain of lacking of drinking water have installed illegal connections to the tubes that supply drinking water to the dormitories of the Students’ Campus. They must go to the Aqueduct and sign regular contracts for having drinking water back.
