48.000 Albanians became Italian and Greek citizens in one year

According to Eurostat, Albanians are among the nationalities receiving most EU citizenships this year.
The European Agency of Statistics said that 980.000 persons have become EU citizens in 2013; 890.000 in 2014; 840.000 in 2015, and it keeps getting lower.
In five years, according to Eurostat, more than 5 million people have become citizens, with Moroccans toping the list with 86.100.
Albanians come second, with 48.400, 96% of whom have received citizenship in Greece and Italy. Albanians have left behind the Turkish, who mostly receive German citizenship, the Paki receive mostly British, the Algerian receive French citizenship.
