A 40-year-old died in Durres after a grenade exploded in his house.
The tragedy took palce in the “Ish-Keneta” area, where the victim Nikoll Frroku had found a missile and started cutting it to sell it for scrap. The missile exploded and caused his immediate death. Police went to the site and started looking for missiles that could put the residents’ life in danger.
Finding old scrap metals and selling them has turned into a job for several Durres citizens, who risk their lives by continuing dangerous dismantling processes.
