The conflict over the use of beach space between two families owning hotels in Velipoja, near Shkodra in northern Albania has caused a massacre with 4 dead shortly after midnight.
The victims are the well-known businessman of the area Kujtim Ferracaku, two brothers Xhovani Gocaj, and Edmond Gocaj and Myzerim Zeneli, a 20-year-old hotel employee.
It is learned that 20-year-old Zeneli was on the first day of work, which turned out to be the last day of his life. Two people were injured, Hasan Ferracaku and Elmilind Dyli.
Kujtim Ferracaku is the father of Arjan Ferracaku who was killed in 2018 in the mafia assassination in the Livadh Area while horse riding. He is the owner of “Hotel Fantazia” in Velipoja and “Hotel Fantazia” in Zues. Meanwhile, the other injured Hasan, is Kujtim’s brother, he also has a business on the beach of Velipoja. After the serious event that happened a few hours after midnight, the director of Shkodra police, Niko Brahimaj went to Velipoja together with the Director of Police, Ardi Veliu.
