A drug traffic organization that operated in Albania, Italy and
Netherlands has been destroyed this Thursday by the Florence Police.
33 Albanian citizen, one Romanian and one Serbian, all accused of international drug traffic, were arrested today after a police operation.
The organization that trafficked drug might have been led by three Albanians.
The authorities seized 15 million EUR of narcotics, seized real estates, bank accounts and other assets that mounted up to 2 million EUR.
According to investigators, the traffic line started from Northern Europe and supplied the Italian market, mainly Lombardia and Toscana.
The operation was realized after a cooperation between the authorities of several countries and the Central Investigative Service for criminal organizations.
