31 arrested at cannabis procession site

A room was adopted to a kitchen to be used by the workers who were guarding the 4.4 tons of cannabis in a Rreshen depot.
Police has removed the cannabis, although the depot still has sings of it. The site was supposed to be shop for wooden doors. It even has a catalog of the furniture that were supposed to be built.
The Lezhe Police carried this operation very briefly, probably without informing the local police either. They said the acnnabis was collected the recent weeks, bought by drug planters in the region.
Two persons were more active in this process, Altin ndoj and Valentin Simoni Ramo Gaba from Lazarat was employed as cannabis expert. 31 persons were arrested, many residents of the surrounding area, including 10 women.
One of them, Marte Ndoj, said she was working to process cannabis, together with her husband. Suzana Ukaj was arrested together with her pregnant daughter and her son in law, on her first day working there.
