A dentist in Tirana is under investigation after the loss of life of a 3-year-old child who performed a long procedure in his clinic in Tirana.
The parents have denounced the 70-year-old dentist Roland Xhaxho for careless treatment in his private clinic of his 3-year-old son, who tragically died two days later.
70-year-old doctor Roland Xhaxho is charged with the criminal offense of “negligent medicine”.
The father of the unfortunate child, Guri Spahiu, told the police that three days ago he took his son for treatment at a private dental clinic where the dentist Roland Xhaxho gave him total anesthesia to perform the dental intervention.
After the several hours intervention, the 3-year old child was returned to the apartment where he started to feel ill. The parents, seeing the condition of the child, took him to the hospital where, despite the efforts of the doctors in the resuscitation department, he lost his life.
The parents say that the boy fell into a coma after the dentist’s anesthesia, while the results of the forensic examination are awaited to prove the causes of the tragedy.
