298 tons of bad quality fuel was seized at the Finiq Municipality.
The operation was followed closely by the Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku; the Chief Inspector of the Technical-Industrial State Inspectorate, Admir Abrija, and the Customs Vice Director, Ylber Kalaja.
Mr.Abrija said that the 289 tons of crude oil were seized for not meeting the standards.
The Customs Vice Director, Mr.Abrija, said that the product has a high risk for the vehicles and for other reasons.
Minister Belinda Balluku said that the operation proves once again the government’s dedication in the fight against informality, and warned once again that the operation will continue during the next weeks.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy underlined that the coordination between the respective agencies and institutions made possible this frontal attack against informality, which will go on.
