The Democratic Party organized a reception for the 27th anniversary of its creation. The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that regardless of scenarios for their elimination, the DP has still been able to be a great party.
“This December is just like the other ones, when we commemorate with gratitude the ones who are no longer among us, such as Azem Hajdari, Gramoz Pashko, Sokol Olldashi, and others”, Basha said.
But, according to Basha, this is also different from others.
“It comes in the year of the biggest crime of June 25th, a big condemnation for the Albanian citizens, for the DP and for the opposition. It takes us steps back, and this requires reflection. We need to take mature and determined decisions”, Basha said.
The DP leader added that they have started dismantling the criminal structure of what he calls “narco-government”.
“This is the beginning of the dismantling of this criminal structure and the lie that keeps this narco-government in power. They have promoted individuals with criminal records, they have allowed a massive canabization of the country, they have engaged gangs as electoral structures to buy votes and they have massively bought votes in the elections of June 25th. These records prove the legitimacy of the parliament”, Basha declared.
