Around 100 citizens appear each day at the Elbasan offices of ALUIZNI
(Agency for legalization, urbanization and integration of illegally
built property). The citizens want to know about the legalization
process of their files.
The Specialists of this office are verifying on terrain every construction or building addition that is expecting legalization. The Head of ALUIZNI, Kastriot Gurra, said that the cases didn’t have all the documentation.
“There are 5000 new applicants who have expressed their will to declare their informal buildings. This shows that there is increasing interest from the citizens. We have tried to welcome our citizens and prepare the legalizations in a record time, without letting them wait. We send deliver the files and then they can arrive to withdraw the documents”, Gurra declared.
There 27.000 applications for legalizing buildings in Elbasan.
The measurements and updates were made to any informal object, to legal and illegal ones.
Citizens are appealed to submit their legalization applications, since the authorities have started admitting new applications since October 15th.
