The Court of Serious Crimes found Ilir Paja guilty again, although the
Supreme Court has not ruled yet about the first sentence that Paja has
taken from the Appeal of Serious Crimes. The First Degree Court of
Serious Crimes sentenced the Kucova citizen, known by the Italian media
as a master for escaping from prison, with 23 years to prison and a fine
of 3 million ALL.

The sentence was given after the investigations held by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes in Italy, for which Paja is charged.

Paja was investigated for premeditated murder in Italy; for attempted premeditated murder; kidnapping and rape.

Paja was apprehended in Italy after an arrest order released from the German state, which accused him of murder.

But after escaping twice from Italy, once through tied sheet from the windows and once from an ambulance, the Police also found that in 2006 he had committed a series of other crimes, together with another Albanian citizen.

After a fight with Ecuadorian citizens, Gentian Makshia shot and killed Gonzales Ramirez and wounded another.

After this, the two Albanian citizens have kidnapped and raped a 19 year old Romanian citizen.

Paja is currently serving time in prison for another crime in 2008, when he wounded a agent during a police operation for his arrest.
