Xhoana was born with a very serious disease, for which there is a cure, but that cannot be offered in Albania.
“I have cystic fibrosis, a lung disease that creates breathing difficulties and frequent infection. Doctors have told me recently that I need an expensive transplant which can be done in Italy or Turkey”, she says.
Her friends have raised 500.000 ALL, but its is not enough. “I appeal the Health Ministry or businessmen to contribute. Xhoana deserves a normal life”, says one of her friends.
Other schools in Librazhd and Prrenjas have contributed for the girl from Qukes, but that is not enough. This has pushed parents tot take this difficult decision.
