A serious incident took place in the city of Lezha in the northwest of Albania, where a student attacked a teacher with a chair at the “Hydajet Lezha” gymnasium of the city.
The incident happened inside the classroom during the lesson. Teacher Majlinda Palushi, who teaches mathematics at this high school for many years, was attacked by her student.
According to the witnesses, there was an argument between the 16-year-old and the math teacher, after which the teenager started violence. The classmates immediately intervened and notified the responsable teacher and the authorities.
After the incident, the injured teacher was sent to the Lezha hospital where she received the necessary treatment, while the 16-year-old was accompanied to the police station to clarify the attack and situation in which it occured.
