16-story building blocked

The State Police, in cooperation with the Construction Inspectorate, has
seized the construction works at a 16-story building near the Russian
Embassy in Tirana.
The Construction Inspectorate, with the support of the police, have suspended every construction work in the site. The Police say that the Inspectorate asked the building company to show if they had a construction permit or not.
The request’s deadline ended this Tuesday morning, and for this reason the Insectorate blocked the construction site and suspended the work. Teknoprojekt, the company that owns the object, not only has not made this documentation available, but they did not oppose the action taken by the police. For this reason, the Inspectorate has left another deadline for the documentation, but without removing the suspension order.
According to the police, no legal measures will be taken for this case, waiting for the construction company to raise its claims about the documentation they have.
