The operation against informality is still going on in Durres, where
1300 new businesses have been planted during this month only. 47 control
groups have been inspecting through the territory, including Kavaja and
Kruja, making 6000 inspections in total.

The Durres Tax Director, Valbona Sako, said they are happy with the positive response of businesses, although there have been some who have created challenges.

The market is still in chaos, since small businesses don’t get supply due to fear of confiscation, because suppliers don’t provide purchase bills.

As for the merchants of the agro-industrial markets in Durres and Kavaja, Sako says that the ambulant merchant status is not valid for them, since they operate in definite locations.
