127 kg of cannabis sativa seized in Saranda

Saranda Police has seized 127 kg of cannabis sativa this morning. The
narcotic substance was found in a vehicle and the owner was arrested.
Local Police says that the arrested suspect is a citizen from Fier, who had stashed the drug in the trunk of his car.
The Anti Drug agents are following the investigations for discovering the itinerary and the destination of the narcotic substance.
Last week, Tirana Police and the Operational Special Unit arrested a group that was trying to enter cannabis sativa in Tirana.
Four persons were arrested and 120 kg of narcotic substances were seized.
Another success for the Police during the last week was the seize of 10 kg high quality heroin at the Macedonian border.
