The US Ambassador, Yuri Kim, through a post on the official website of the Embassy congratulated Albania, which today marks 11 years of NATO membership.
The diplomat emphasizes that the United States is proud to be an ally with Albania as she recalled the fact that very soon NATO will have its quarters in Kuçova.
“For 11 years, since Albania became an ally in NATO, US and Albanian forces have shed blood, sweat and tears together in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Latvia. NATO will soon have a building in Kucova. The United States is proud to be an ally of Albania”, wrote the ambassador.
