For the 101st anniversary of Independence, the Albanian President, Bujar
Nishani, welcomed in the Palace of Brigades ambassadors and delegates
of other friendly countries.
The President appealed for more work in the European Integration path, a reinforcement of the rule of law and democracy.
“Let’s keep working towards the European Union. Only this way we will create stability and progress in all areas. The democracies function better with others, especially with neighbors, with whom we should cooperate in all aspects. After all, with our rich language, culture and ancient history, we are a nation as all others, and we should turn our eyes to ourselves. We should work hard and not allow Albania to become the country of superficial people and political battle. Let’s make Albania the country of good hearted people with a noble soul and who work hard, think for the other. Happy independence day and may we be always together”, Nishani declared.
