The Vlore Prosecution has seized a 100 million EUR property in
Karaburun, which includes 220 hectares. There are suspicions that it was
taken through falsified documents, after a report of two citizens who
claim ownership of a section of this land.
The Task-Force unit of the Vlore Prosecution has found out that the 220 hectares in Saint Vasil, Karaburun, were initially registered under Rajmond Mezi. But investigations showed that the documents were falsified.
A document dating 1943 has been falsified, showing Jakup Mezi as owner. This document was presented at the Vlore Prosecution.
Investigations show that decision 100, dated 19.4.1994 of the Vlore Municipality was also falsified.
Investigations show that another falsified document is the decision no.1360 of the civilian court, dated December 29th, 2000, through which the property was returned to the owner.
The entire case that belongs to this case has been falsified and registered to become part of the Vlore Archive. The property was illegally given to Rajmond Mezi, and then was divided in two properties, 130 and 90 hectares. These properties have then been given to other people, for hiding the origin.
Several persons are being held under investigation as suspects of forging documents in cooperation.
