Prizren will organize the 16th edition of “Docufest”, a festival for
documentary films. 250 films will be shown in total this year in 10
theaters organized in the city.
“We are happy that the theaters were full. 2000 people have watched the films. This is equal to the trend of 2015, when we had the immigration topic and most of the viewers”, said Eroll Bilibani, Artistic Director of the Festival.
As every year, Docufest is mixed with music, art discussions and other activities that turn Prizren into a city of art.
The number of foreign tourists is also higher, many of whom travel for the Docufest films.
Docufest was created in 2002, and has been one of the most popular ones, not only in Kosovo. Prizren, close to the border with Albania, turns every summer into the capital of films.
