While Easter is on its way, the Orthodox Church in Elbasan received the legalization of 10 of their cult objects.
Metropolitan Andon Merdani said that the legalization of churches serves to a good institutionalization of cult objects and of their management.
MP Taulant Balla underlined that churches whicha re being legalized today, were built on the foundations of older churches that had been destroyed.
There are seven other churches waiting for legalization at the Elbasan Municipality. Only a few days ago, the Agency for Legalization, Urbanization and Integration of Informal Buildings in Elbasan gave permits for 50 mosques built after the ‘90s.
