10 million EUR of illegal assets seized

Police has seized today the real estates of Astrit Nimani, resident of
Lezhe, mounting up to 10 million EUR. Police say the criminal case has
started in 2013, and has been followed pro-actively by the Sector for
Economic-Financial crime of the Lezhe Police, in cooperation with the
Lezhe Court.
Police has seized a Hotel-Bar-Restaurant, 5 stores, 7940 square meters, in Shengjin; a 13-store building in Shengjin, 5000 square meters, with 65 apartments, commercial units and parking garages; a 13-store building in Shengjin, 6500 square meters, with 65 apartments, commercial units and parking garages; a 10-store building, 9500 square meters, 90 apartments, commercial units and parking garages.
Police say they suspect these assets are product of criminal activity committed by Astrit Nimani who was arrested on November 15th, 2013, in Serbia. On December 20th of the same year he was extradited to Italy, since the Court of Milan had sentenced him to seven years in prison for drug traffic.
