The Ministry of Finances has prepared a draft law which fines businesses
with 100.000 USD when they are found not issuing the purchase bill to
clients.
The draft has changed the law to 10 million ALL fines for businesses with an annual turnover higher than 8 million ALL. The fine for other tax payers will be 500.000 ALL.
Besides the fine, businesses will have all their goods seized, and this will be only for the first time they are found violating the law. Repeated violators will be sent to court for tax evasion.
The draft gives more rights to the tax administration and allows them to seize not less than 50% of the daily turnover.
