One year after the death of Dritero Agolli, one of Albania’s best-known writers, relatives and friends gathered at the National Museum of History, in a commemoration ceremony.

“With a good book and free speech, you become a saint. And my saint is my father, Dritero”, said Elona Agolli, the writer’s daughter.

Dorian Koci, Director of the National Museum of History declared that artistic geniuses never die. “It is hard to understand one year without Dritero. People usually get used with their living icons, when they have them”.
