A powerful 10 meter long vessel was discovered by the Brindisi border police.
The vessel was 15 km far from the shore, and it was transporting 1700 kg of marijuana. Five Albanian citizens were arrested on board of the boat.
Air control showed that they were trying to throw the drug in sea, before trying to seek help.
The powerboat was towed to the Brindisi port, while the five persons are arrested with international drug charges.

This organization led by another Albanian citizen had branches in Germany, where they traded mainly cocaine.
The investigators have discovered that different to the usual flux, the cocaine traveled from Italy to Albania.
