The Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic, claims that Brussels pressured him to recognize Kosovo’s UN accession.

Vucic declared for the Serbian newspaper “Novosti” that Kosovo will have to ask Serbia’s consent for every change in the discussion format.

He added that Belgrade has been pressured by the EU, from Brussels, to recognize Kosovo in the UN and that the local police should have 68% of its staff made of Albanians and 32% of Serbs, c9oinciding with the population ratio.

“I didn’t agree with such communist conditions, and I proposed to have the police in Northern Kosovo 90% made of Serbs. They refused and that’s where pressure started”, Vucic declared.
