The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met in New York with the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres.
The focus of this meeting was the political situation and security in Western Balkan.
Rama guaranteed Mr.Guterres that the Albanian government is committed for peace and security not only in our region, but also beyond.
This is why for him, having Kosovo’s independence recognized by all UN members is a direct contribution to the security of the entire region.
The Prime Minister also valued the role and contribution of UN agencies in Albania with many reform processes.
