After Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare” made specific reports about farmers
using huge amounts of hormones and stimulants for their fruits and
vegetables, the Albanian Agricultural Council publicly condemns these
cases and asked for a thorough investigation of those responsible.
The council, which represents farmers, says there should be no generalizations after this news. “We don’t agree with the generalization, as if every farmer is acting like these specific persons”, Rrapaj said.
The Council says that the Albanian agricultural products are exported in most of the EU countries, and there have been no negative reports so far.
