Former President appeals Albanians to vote after polls show lower will to vote

A group of Albanian intellectuals called “The Civil Fourm” asked
citizens to participate in these elections, since polls show that 45% of
the people have no interest to vote.

Former President Alfred Mojsiu said there is a mistrust climate among politicians, but their work must be judged through votes.

“Don’t make the big mistake to not vote. It would make the situation worse. That way you would allow the people who think only about themselves to do whatever they want. This would cause a heavier burden to the future of our children, to our nephews”, said the former President of Albania, Alfred Moisiu.

The Coalition of Local Observer asked the political parties and their candidates to be more transparent about the campaign funds before the elections.

“Lacking of ideas and visions, with the Parliamentary candidacies remaining under the shadow of political subjects, the coalition of local observers asked the 18 parties to make a financial transparency”, said Premto Gogo from the Coalition of Local Observers.
