Police suspects that a chemical substance was used during the Democratic
Party meeting, causing health trouble among 140 participants.
Crime specialists started investigating, supported by the Prosecution and National Guard. Army chemists arrived on the scene and cooperated with police to collect evidence. However, the authorities did not find any suspicious substance.
They have also collected samples from the clothes of the affected people. The Health Ministry said 140 people in total arrived at the hospital with skin rush, burning eyes and even slight breathing problems.
Among the patients was also the Democratic Party leader, who received medication and left the hospital after two hours. Even his little daughter had similar symptoms.
