Rama government and Tirana Municipality co-fund building of 30 new schools

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, announced the agreement during an electoral meeting in Kashar.

“The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, just approved a co-funding project with the Tirana Municipality for building 30 new schools, three of which are going to be built for the Kashar-Yzberisht-Kombinat area. Three new schools, as requested by the community”, Veliaj said.

As for the social homes, Mayor Veliaj said that different from the Basha administration, which blocked them, they were able to distribute them to people in need in a very short time.

Veliaj underlined that the Municipality will also give soft loans for new families, while under Basha the only ones benefiting were ministers, MPs and Democratic Party directors.
