The Serbian Prime Minister, Alexandar Vucic, is expected to travel this
Wednesday to Northern Kosovo, to visit the Trepca complex and local
miners before holding an electoral meeting in Leposavic.

The government of Kosovo decided to allow the visit. Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj confirmed this during a press release held after meeting with the Luxemburg head of diplomacy.

Vucic will stay in Kosovo for three hours. He will visit the Serbian communes, although it has not been announced yet if the April 2nd Presidential elections will be organized for Northern Kosovo too.

The OSCE mission has been part of a series of meetings during the past weeks. They have discussed the possibility of holding these elections. The consultations have involved high-level officials in Prishtina and Belgrade. Despite their interest, there has been no final result yet.

Serbian List officials, who represent the Serbian community in the Kosovo institutions, argue that double citizenship allows Serbs to vote for the Presidential elections.

The Central Election Commission in Belgrade has approved an instruction for holding elections in Kosovo, with support from the OSCE, which will take care of the electoral material at border crossings.
