The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said that the protest is a
war started between most of Albanians and a minority that is withholding
the country.
“This is a criminal system, a criminal republic that has to be overthrown at any cost. We have to overthrow, bury it and make way for justice, democracy, free and fair elections”, Basha said today.
“This is not just a protest. This is a war between the majority of Albanians who are taking fate in their hands, and a minority that wants to keep Albania imprisoned, without free and fair elections”, he added.
The opposition leader said that the people have had enough. “If they want war, there will be war. Slash their tires. Break their doors and windows. Time has come when there will be nowhere they can hide. The popular anger is rising. I appeal every citizen to react, let’s take our responsibility. Don’t turn the other cheek, but punch them”, Basha said.
He accused the government of sharing every wealth of Albanians with oligarchs, while the country is plunging into misery”
