After the LSDM said in a press release that there could be a possible
coalition with the Albanian BDI (Democratic Union for Integration DUI),
the leader of the VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, said that they will do
everything possible to protect their citizens’ will.

Ivo Kotevski, Spokesperson for the VMRO-DPMNE, mentioned the case of 2006, when their decision to form a government with PDSH was opposed by the BDI and by the international community, with the argument that the will of Albanian voters was not being respected. The case is similar, according to Kotevski, since the VMRO-DPMNE won more Parliamentary seats.

Nikola Gruevski warned that anyone who will make bargains with national and state interests, must know that there are others who are ready to fight for them.

The LSDM leader, Zoran Zaev, declared earlier the day that the negotiations with the Albanian party BDI were going well, and that there could be a government within 15 days.
