Gruevski has to negotiate with Albanians for coalition
The Macedonian President, Gjorge Ivanov, authorized the leader of VMRO-DPMNE to create the new government, as the party with the highest number of votes in the December early elections.

VMRO-DPMNE received 51 Parliamentary seats, but they need 61 to rule the country. This is why Gruevski will have to need the Albanian parties in coalition.

BDI, Besa and the Alliance for Albanians announced their joint platform on January 7th, which they will use for negotiations.

The political agenda of the three Albanian parties foresees language equality, usage of Albanian as an official language, economic equality, involving Albanians with the negotiations for resolving the name issue with Greece, for NATO and EU accession.

Gruevski has 20 days before forming the cabinet, and then the Parliament must vote the new government.

VMRO-DPMNE won 51 seats, LSDM 49, and then, the Albanian Parties had BDI win 10 seats, Besa 5, Alliance for Albanians 3 and the PDSH of Menduh Thaci won two seats.
