Truth about DP accusations against Socialist MP involved in Dibra elections

The opposition has constantly accused Sadri Abazi, Tirana MP, originated
from Dibra, about an additional store that is being built to an
apartment building once owned by him. Top Channel investigated the truth
of these accusations, and it seems that his involvement with the Dibra
Municipality elections plays a greater role than the truth.

The Democratic Party said that an entire floor is being built illegally but with the permission of Edi Rama in the center of Tirana.

Top Channel made some questions to the Spokesperson of the DP, and while waiting for answers, enquiries showed that the works are legal, and only reconstruction of an already existing floor, not a newly built one.

The Municipality says that a government decision of May 2015 defines the interventions in the building that do not require permit. The works undergoing here are about changing windows, repairing electric systems and repairing the outside wall of the front side.

Based on this decision, the Municipality’s Administrative Unit no.9, where this building is situated, has allowed the interested party to continue with the construction, because that needs no permit.

Top Channel addressed to the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection, enquiring if the apartment building was legalized. The official answer is that Usluga Sh.P.K has received permission for three objects, even the last store of this building.

After waiting for two days, the Democratic Party gave no answer. The Spokesperson of the DP, Ina Zhupa, continued attacking Sadri Abazi another day, on the same day when he was visiting Dibra for campaign.

“A tender was given two days ago for Rama’s Sadri Abazi, completely illegal, for rebuilding public areas near the Dibra Culture palace”, Zhupa says.

It seems that the electoral campaign is more important than the truth regarding his apartment building permit.
