A considerable amount of fuel residue has been dumped on the water stream that goes through the entire village of Zharrez.
Residents say that the polluting materials are being constantly dumped by the Zharrez plant that is owned by Albpetrol.
The representatives of the company don’t admit that their company has discharged materials, but they also don’t exclude the possibility, since the technology that is being used in this area is very old.
Alarmed by the pollution, a team from the Environment Inspectorate is on the site, promising to bring those responsible to justice.
