“The European Union must open the accession negotiation with Albania and start a new approach to Western Balkan.”
This is the stance held by the Visegrad countries at the annual conference held in Budapest.
The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, mentioned the judiciary reform, but also another essential one.
“We showed our full commitment for the judiciary reform, which is very ambitious. Maybe the most ambitious in the region. Although we didn’t sit to discuss the obligations coming from chapters 23 and 24, to continue with the rule of law in economy, which, I must say on behalf of the Albanian government, are a priority for our country’s further development and not just for the European Integration”, Bushati declared.
The Albanian Foreign Minister spoke about the region and the need to create a joint calendar, to prevent any gapthat could be created during this process.
