The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, congratulated all Kosovo citizens for the 10th anniversary of independence through a video message.
“This was an extraordinary trip. All the efforts for the war and then for peace, have brought wonderful achievements for Kosovo. I know that we can all be critical, cynical, sceptical and try to find the things that have not been done well, but let’s see what has been done good in these 10 years”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor of Tirana underlines that both Kosovo and Albania have a better future ahead of them.
“I think this is a day to reflect on what has been achieved, but also to open our imagination on how far we can go. Albania and Kosovo have the future ahead of them. I wish you a happy 10th anniversary of independence. Congratulations and hugs from Tirana”, Veliaj said.
