The UN Security Council will hold a meeting today in New York to discuss the creation of Kosovo’s National Army.

Kosovo will be represented by President Hashim Thaci, who said that regardless of the outcome of these results, the creation of the army is irreversible.

Serbia’s Permanent Mission at the UN sent a letter to the Security Council President, right after Kosovo’s Parliament passed the new law for allowing the creation of its own national army.

The content of the letter is yet unknown to the public, but unofficial sources say it is related to what Serbia considers “a violation of the security articles of the Resolution”.
